## What is the story?
In about the year 2040, an Interpol Agent is modified by a CRISPR process to become (mostly) a physical rendition of the head of an international gang that he is chasing. The gang specializes in underground and illegal genetic modifications. He has to both get changed back into his original self, and catch the bad guys, while romping around the triangle of Indonesia, Thailand, and Myanmar.
## What else do I wonder about?
How close is CRISPR to this type of genetic modification?
## Action
I don't want to make any life changes as a result of listening to this story, except maybe to avoid Daniel Suarez books in the future. Actually, the book was fun, good story, moved along, not really my style in terms of where I want to spend my time in fiction reading.
