*Believe in your own true story.*
##### what is it?
"Your boldest self emerges through the experience of having full access to your values, traits, and strengths, and knowing you can autonomously and sincerely express them through your actions."
Reminding ourselves what matters most to ourselves and who we are, ground ourselves in our uniqueness. If we remind ourselves immediately before a key performance, it opens us to [[create the conditions]] for our [[Presence]] to emerge.
##### why does it matter?
Identifying the traits that make you your true authentic self can be performed with a series of enablers and inhibitors.
- When do you feel like your true authentic self is aligned? What helps get you there?
- When do you feel least feel like your self is aligned and authentic. What gets in the way of your true authentic self being aligned?
When you find your own specific core values through the process of [[Developing Values]], the more you can clarify and identify your true self you can make it accessible by reflecting on and writing about it.
##### This reminds me of
[[Dynamic Plus-Delta]] on what inhibits or enables our [[Identity]] emerging. It's the same idea to me as [[De]].
##### What would the opposite argument be?
[[🐓 Idea Farm/6 Long Form Sources/Trying Not To Try|Trying Not To Try]] is at risk here, if we are trying to help our true authentic self emerge, we are at risk of it appearing forced.
