*How to have enough confidence to motivate you that you can do something, but enough self-awareness to push you to learn.*
This reminds me of [[provisional identity]], ensuring that you understand that you are in the middle of becoming something.
It's kind of like [[competence and confidence are not linked]], so if you assume incompetence, but competence in your methods, you can get closer to learning. Having just the right amount of imposter syndrome can keep you curious.
This is an idea from Think Again, a [[Mindset]] to be in, pushing you always be learning.
This matters because you probably should assume you don't know, but your brain will trick you into believing you know.
### What would the opposite argument be?
You're an expert, you know stuff. You worked damn hard to get here!
### What am I curious about?
Is confidence a U-shaped curve?
