It's kind of like giving away my opportunity to influence
**righteous indignation** is typically a reactive emotion of anger over perceived mistreatment, insult, or malice of another. It is akin to what is called the sense of injustice. (wikipedia)
This matters because when my righteous indignation is triggered, I start telling not listening, I stop understanding, which makes me ineffective.
