It's kind of like [[Four Thousand Weeks]], our time is limited, and it's already full because of [[Parkinsons Law]], so what will we get rid of if we want to expand something that is better, or more valuable? This is a [[Mindset]] to improvement, it says remove low value activities that interfere with your high value ones. Look for ways to coordinate with others because [[relational coordination]] This matters because _our lives are full,_ yet we try to add more and more. I want to run a half-marathon, I should ask, "What do I need to stop doing to be able to train enough to run?"" Not, "What do I need to start doing?" ##### What would the opposite argument be? Most people spend a lot of time on frivolous things, if you try to add something, you'll probably just displace those. tags: #note/idea | #on/performance | #on/design ##### Sources: [[Antifragile Book]]
