There are heuristics at play here, and those are important for saving energy. This is like [[Thinking Fast and Slow]] and how each has its place. ![[CleanShot 2022-10-14 at 08.49.08.jpg]] It's kind of like [[Extreme Responsibility]] for our emotions, and taking control of the influence we have through [[Change the World]] by changing yourself because [[Mindsets change our mind and our future]]. This is an acknowledgement that we have the power to influence through positivity. Take responsibility and [[I haven't failed until I've blamed]]. Do I want to just give my power away through negative energy [[Power Leaks]]? Or do I want to keep as much influence as possible, and even expand my influence by the power of positive thinking. It matters because [[I get to, not I have to]] in every situation. ### What would the opposite argument be? Go with my instincts! Why think slow when fast is very good! Sure it will lead me astray sometimes, but I will save so much energy on the way. ## Sources: [[🐓 Idea Farm/Deadfall/For myself only/Readwise/Books/The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People]]
