*When crossing out of your in-group in an organization.*
This reminds me of the need for [[co-design]] in any good process.
It's kind of like [[2024 pain faculty program Ideas]] and how [[speaking up training doesn't work]] but learning to receive speaking up is a great way of getting the most out of speaking up. Since [[trust is the currency of relationships]], and those relationships have not been build when you are boundary spanning, you need to focus on both the relationship AND the content at the same time.
It is reaching across groups in an organization as needed to solve a problem. This is the process of creating an [[ad hoc team]], or it could be creating a [[smash team]]
This matters because if you can be aware of when you are boundary spanning you can be more explicit with your [[convey]], and request for convey, because your words may not mean the same thing across the divisions. For example, different groups might disagree about [[Is the land who or what?]]
##### What would the opposite argument be?
Do what you normally do when you cross boundaries, that's how you can learn about each other.
