*When the thing you might really want appears, can you accept it into your life?*
This reminds me of how can you [[create the conditions]] for you to be available for the opportunity?
It's kind of like [[So Good They Can't Ignore You]], if you create yourself as a unique human that now can leverage their skills into [[autonomy]], but you cannot accept the opportunity because of other life constraints, what was the point?
"Be available for the opportunity" is a life stance that means to me that we need to live below our means, without needs, so that when opportunity rears its head for a meaningful life, we can take it.
##### What would the opposite argument be?
When you lack attachment, you can lack connection on the deepest level. What if your family, friends, and partner are the things keeping you from your opportunity? What's the difference between this and [[deciding not to decide]]?

unknown, appears that I first said it when debriefing at the University of Alabama Birmingham CMS program in 2021.
