It's kind of like [[climb till you fall]], how you need to recognize the times that you actually are falling. Since all stimulus is data, [[it's all data]], it is us that layers the interpretation on it, the [[Feeling]] on top. If we can [[separate who from what to not miss the valuable information]], then we can recognize when our [[Ego Is The Enemy]], and be able to get into a [[Growth Mindset]]. ### What would the opposite argument be? Why should we pay attention to people who are not intending to give us feedback? They haven't thought it through? In my mind this argument doesn't hold water because in this moment we are getting their raw, unobstructed feedback. ## Sources: [[🐓 Idea Farm/Deadfall/For myself only/Readwise/Books/Thanks for the Feedback]]
