*How does change happen in humans?*
##### what is it?
[[Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change]] is a classic model of behavior change that was created to unify the pre-existing disparate models, still a useful way to think about behavior change.
##### why does it matter?
[[Forming Habits]] is hard. It requires work. Often people make progress to a certain level then fall back.

##### This reminds me of
[[unconscious incompetence]] at the pre-contemplation stage.
##### What would the opposite argument be?
[[Transformative Learning]] is a way to fully see the world differently, how does transformative learning moments interact with this model? Is there a way for people to skip certain steps? What motivates change and keeps people on it. Also, how is this similar-to how organizations or teams change?
