My identity can change towards a certain direction, and then little movements towards that direction end me with a new human. We should also recognize that at times we are hypocrites to our identities with our habits. If we can properly [[Identifying Reality]], then when we [[embrace your hypocrisy]] instead of letting our [[Ego Is The Enemy]] block the reality from getting through, we can make progress towards that reality. It's kind of like Amy Edmondson's video on leadership. Even when the map is unclear people with trust will follow your compass. This is a realization that our habits and our identity are wrapped up together. This matters because we think motivation is required for action, but in reality [[motivation]] comes from [[Doing]] and action drives motivation in a cycle. We need to be able to say [[a simple no]] to the old us. There are certain keystone habits that identify big changes that we need to exercise towards, because [[Barbells make you stronger]]. ### What would the opposite argument be?
