topic: [[Researching]] created: 2025-03-10 *I don't like a straight Delphi, so I changed it!* ##### what is it? Any modification to the traditional [[Delphi]] method of research. For example, adding in a non-anonymous meeting for anyone who can attend. ##### why does it matter? Modifications have the benefit of allowing some new tradeoffs, such as mid-course idea generation and collaboration. ##### What would the opposite argument be? By modifying the approach, confusion can exist as to the exact method used, which can unintentionally reduce the reproducibility and trust of your process. tags: #note/idea | #on/consensus | #on/research ##### Sources: Humphrey-Murto, S., Varpio, L., Wood, T.
