_When we see something again and again, we believe it regardless of it's truth._
The idea that when we are expose to a concept or text over again, our brain fools us into thinking we know it already, and it's true
What we need to do is the act of writing in order to solidify our understanding and clarify for ourselves that we do or do not understand something
Writing, then reading our writing and asking ourselves if we understand it, in what ways it was confusing, and what questions were raised, causes us to solidify our knowledge
“Seeing something we have seen before causes the same emotional reaction as if we had been able to retrieve the information from our memory. Rereading, therefore, makes us feel we have learned what we read: “I know that already!””
