The key is creating new meaning, or [[Learning]]. One of the ways to elaboration is writing, so called [[Writing to learn]] - So, when creating notes, such as [[Smart Notes]], the key step is elaboration. That is the act of [[2023-03 Reading]], but doing it [[Read with a pen in the hand]] where you are creating meaning from the reading. - Modules that chunk uninterrupted one after another are better for short term but worse for long-term. It matters because elaboration is a key way to learn and to implement [[Creating]], it allows for the collision of ideas. ## what would the opposite argument be?
