The problem: your advice monster starts thinking about the advice after just a few seconds. It doesn't understand the scope of the problem, the people, the situation, it just has advice and wants to use it.
- Problem 1: Solving the wrong problem but jumping too early to conclusions about what the problem really is. You are suffering from early closure.
- Problem 2: despite how good we think it is, we don't really have very good advice
- Problem 3: You're teaching them to not seek their own answers, and using your energy to solve their problems
So that's the problem, better to think about the solution.
