It's kind of like using [[Inquiry]] on myself to help with assessing my reactions and if they are helpful or not. This is a form of therapy that focuses on defusion of [[Power Leaks]] **ACT focuses on 3 areas:** **A**ccept your reactions and be present **C**hoose a valued direction **T**ake action. ![[Defusion]] This matters because [[I haven't failed until I've blamed]], so I need to use [[curiosity]] to assess my reactions, and how helpful they are. I need to accept them, and choose a new direction, to commit to a different [[Doing]]. [[To build better habits, change your identity]] through voting for a new course of action. ### What would the opposite argument be? If you accept the way you are, aren't you not going to be able to change? Isn't change about not accepting who you are? How does acceptance help with moving your behavior in a new direction.
