Radon can be drawn from under the slab and vented away from the house. Sometimes it is possible to connect directly into the foundation drain-tile system and draw air (including radon) from the sub-slab network beneath the floor. Both of these procedures are very effective (up to 99% reduction of radon levels) PROPOSAL: SUBSLAB DEPRESSURIZATION SYSTEM: 1. Sump basin sealed with clear LEXAN cover. 2. Radon collection chamber created in functionally optimal location. Existing sump basin may be used as a collection chamber. 3. 4" PVC vent pipe installed into chamber and sealed into place. 4. Vent piping exits basement to home exterior via 4" foundation penetration. 5. Standard radon mitigation fan mounted to system outside home. 6. Electrical connections completed and system disconnect switch installed using waterproof conduit and EXISTING AVAILABLE CIRCUIT. 7. 4" white PVC stack pipe installed extending beyond roofline. 8. Foundation inspected and cracks sealed as necessary to assure system efficiency. Dynavac manometer installed on all systems to monitor mitigation fan vacuum pressure A FREE post mitigation test kit is included to confirm radon reduction. All fans covered by a 5 year manufacturers warranty/Lifetime warranty on workmanship and durability. Special paint orders can be fulfilled at an additional cost and with proper lead time. Please, spray paint only. ![[Image 106.jpeg]] **Garage Attic Upgrade - $199.00** This option ensures that the radon mitigation system is almost completely hidden. In most cases, an interior system begins in the basement, comes into the garage and is routed through the garage attic. The mitigation fan is mounted in the attic area the system vents through the roof of the garage. ![[Image 107.jpeg]] **FanMax Upgrade - $195.00** Upgrading your system from the standard fan to the FANMAX fan increases the power of your system from 175 cubic feet/minute (CFM) to 380 CFM. The FANMAX fan is always recommended for homes with higher levels of radon or where multiple collection points are required. **Second Collection Point - $149.00** Adding a second collection point to your radon mitigation system will increase the negative pressure field under the home and create a larger drawing area. This option is highly recommended in conjunction with a FANMAX if radon levels are high and for older homes. **Safety Options** **Radon Level Monitor Upgrade - $149.00** This device, designed for homeowner use, allows the homeowner to monitor post-mitigation radon levels. It is equipped with an ionization sensor and an audible alarm. Both short-term and long-term radon levels are displayed after 48 hours. Monitor beeps hourly if long-term radon levels are 4 pCi/L or higher.
