We're getting the house fixed up so it's ready to move into in a couple of months. We'd like to sit down with someone to figure out what comes next with the land. Our priority is probably going to be habitat conservation, but maybe we need to think more specifically about what kinds of habitats.... There are two fields near the house, and we were wondering about trying to have some bobolink habitat, for example. We are not necessarily looking to harvest trees but would do it from a conservation/habitat preservation perspective. Another thing we'd like to do is assure a permanent continuous stretch of land from the Swope Trails all the way to Hopkinton Rd. Can you give me the name again of the person at the City offices that I can contact? FYI - we found another tree stand (much closer to the house - we think it's not on the easement property) and have posted a bunch of no hunting signs. We have seen some very cool things - porcupine, deer, huge group of turkeys, and our contractor took a picture of a coyote in the back yard.... Cynthia and Lon
