Since the brain is incredibly complex, we seek to apply our most advanced technology to how the brain works. It's kind of like how [[We see the world in stories]], we tell stories about our brains and how they work This is a description of how we create mental models for how anything works that we don't understand. This matters because the brain isn't a computer, or a switchboard, or any other thing besides the brain.
