It's a way of helping people with perfectionist tendencies to let perfection go as a goal.
This matters because I became a better or at least healthier clinician when I stopped trying to be perfect and tried to have [[trust is the currency of relationships]].
### What would the opposite argument be?
Our patients need us to be perfect. Being perfect gets me closer to being the best version of myself.
