*How our state of mind filters the available information in a feedback loop.* This reminds me of [[Thinking in Systems]], and how there are positive and negative feedback loops. When we are in a certain emotional state, we try to find information that supports that emotional state, and we end up strengthening that emotional state. This is kind of like [[confirmation bias]], and how we can have reinforcement loops which can develop runaway phenomena after inflection points are reached. This is a mental framework of describing how we can be in different [[Mindset]]s, and those change our experience of the world. Like every theory, this one is just a model and [[all models are wrong but some are useful]]! This matters, because our [[Mindset]] is fungible through [[🐓 Idea Farm/🌿 Ideas/Self-Regulated Learning]] ### What would the opposite argument be? ## Sources: Something Chris Roussin said, need sources (email sent on )
