It's kind of like the challenge of [[Identifying Reality]], and how Kevin Kelly thinks that futurists are actually trying to see the present. Seeing the present is really hard because [[it's all data]], but we layer that data with our [[emotion changes the world we are in]] We have experiences, we bring in input, and [[it's all data]], but we layer meaning onto that data, when it comes to other's actions we [[climb the ladder of inference]]. This matters because we think we need to change people's available data to change their minds, but instead we need to change the stories they tell. ### What would the opposite argument be?
